-?- HOME

Defeat for the Saturday team.

BSECC 150/9 = -?- 151/3

BSE were in terrible trouble early on at 53 for 7 until Tom Holman was joined by Nick (KJ)Warren in the middle for a 50+ run partnership. KJ carried on with the tail to get 75 runs and brought BSE up to 150, a slightly more defendable total. However after a smashing tea prepared jointly by Tim Ervine and Sam Plumb our bowlers, not helped by at least three dropped catches, struggled to take control. Big Martin Sparks showed he hadn't lost his touch over the winter with a couple of wickets but -?- knocked off the runs with over 10 overs left for the loss off only three wickets, their opener Nix the pick with 89no. Man of the match for BSE was KJ. Without his majestic 75 including 4 sixes this really could have been complete humiliation.
